Online Quotation assumptions

  • The property to be insured is located in an area that is free from flooding, subsidence, heave and landslip, coastal or river erosion.
  • The property to be insured is of standard construction (i.e. built of brick or stone and roofed with slate, tile or concrete) and the property is in a good state of repair and will be so maintained.
  • The property to be insured must be owned by the insured.
  • The property to be insured must be occupied as a private dwelling and must not be used for business purposes other than as a rented private dwelling.
  • The property to be insured must be occupied as a single dwelling unit.
  • The property must not be let as bedsit type accommodation or multi units.
  • You have not had a proposal for home insurance declined, renewal refused, cover terminated or special terms imposed by any insurer.
  • You understand failure to disclose any previous claims on a property insurance policy you may have had could result in your policy being cancelled or and any future claims being declined.
  • Property is not made up of more than 15% Flat roof.
